Did you know that Brand has been around since 1973 as Brand Electric? We’ve been making waves in the electric, A/V and tech industries for over 50 years! Founded
- John & Nancy Brand start John Brand Electric as a sole proprietor business
1987
Generational Business
- Jeff Brand – John and Nancy’s son – was hired by Brand Electric
1988
Incorporation
- Brand Elecric Inc. is created with John & Nancy Brand as co-owners
1994
Shared Family Ownership
- Jeff Brand buys 50% ownership in Brand Electric
2000
Acquisition of ProAudio
- Brand Electric Inc. aquires ProAudio and starts the tech division ProAudio by Brand
2005
Generational Business
- John Brand retires; Jeff Brand buys remaining 50% ownership of Brand Electric, making him the President and 100% owner
2012
3rd Generation Family Hire
- Kameron Brand is hired by Brand Electric
2018
3rd Generation Family Leadership
- Kameron Brand – John & Nancy’s grandson – becomes Vice President of Brand Electric
2019
ProAudio New Management
- Scott Post is hired as division manager of ProAudio by Brand
2020
Re-Brand
- ProAudio by Brand is rebranded as Brand Tech
2021
IT Solutions Added
- Phil Mailloux is hired to develop IT support solutions for the Brand Tech division of Brand Electric
